Ice out is under way. Temps have been as high as the 80s this past week. Forecast is for more seasonal temps in the 40s next week, slight chance of snow but likely rain tonight. In general, it looks as though we should have some good early season fishing this year. There is little to no snow left at this elevation, banks are clear of snow/ice, and as I said, ice out is well under way. Checked Mountain Pond this afternoon, it is roughly 30% open and just barely holding on. There are large swaths of open, fishable water. There are insects buzzing around. I would dare say find a year round section closest to you and have a go!

Air Temperature:
60 (°F)
